??salivary stone: The spot you are describing is where the submandibular salivary glands are,one on each side of the midline.Each gland has a duct(channel)which carries saliva to the floor of the mouth.There may be a stone in one duct blocking salivary flow.See an ENT specialist or go to your doctor for appropriate referral.Good luck.
