My 13 year old daughter is having a vaginal ultrasound and she is very nervous will i be able to be with her and what should i tell her to expect ?

You should be there: my personal feeling is that unless she gets her period and uses a tampon, I don't recommend transvaginal ultrasound in this age group. Transabdominal approach is usually enough. That also depends on why the study is being performed

Intravaginal U/S: Chances are she will have a female technician. You will be with her in the room while the study is performed. A small instrument covered by plastic changed between patients will be inserted with lubrication jelly that is warmed ahead of time. It may not be comfortable and it may be embarrassing, but it should not be painful. I hope this helps somewhat. Rare for a 13 year old to have this study.
