A member asked:

How long does it take for your body to absorb calcium into its cells from the minute you consume it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It depends on the chemical form of calcium, the production of parathyroid hormone, vitamin D status of the body, health of stomach and intestine. Under ideal conditions calcium would get into intestinal cells in about 30 minutes.
