Indeterminate at this point.: The Claritin (loratadine) during the dosage studies was initially dose up to 40 mg per day. A normal Claritin (loratadine) is only 10 mg. You're not normally going to have those kind of symptoms just from an allergy medication. You certainly could have a viral syndrome. Perhaps you're even developing appendicitis. If you have a fever, do not feel like eating, and are having progressive pain, then I suggest you might want to visit the emergency room.
