Very unlikely: Sarcomas are not hereditary and your risk for this type of cancer is no different than the risk of any body else.

Unlikely: There is an inherited condition called Li Fraumeni in which there is increased risk for sarcomas (at young age) and a ton of other cancers like breast, adrenal, leukemia, etc. if your father's cancer occurred late in life and there is no other family history, most likely your odds are no different than those of any other person. Talk to your doc about this next time you see him/her. Saludos.
