Exam: Severe abdominal pain should not be assumed to be connected to your having a period. It could be appendicitis, for instance, a surgical emergency. Not uncommonly urinary infection or other conditions can distract from a hot appendix. You need to examined, in an emergency room if your doctor is not available, and labs may need to be done +/- imaging. Take care of this.
