Vagisil does numb V: Vagisil contains benzocaine, a topical anesthetic, which does numb the vagina. Overuse can cause skin irritation. I would not recommend prolonged use. If u are having pain with penetration, try KY jelly or astroglide, experiment with different sexual positions, and increase foreplay to increase ur own bodies lubrication. If u are peri/post-menopausal, see your clinician for possible Rx options.
