Allergy to dye: It sounds as is you are allergic to the hair dye that is used. You should see a dermatologist (not an allergist), and have patch testing done. This way you could see if there is any hair dye that you can use. The most common chemical is called phenylenediamine that causes this problem. It is usually referred to as PPD.
