See derm: People with seborrhea may have a lot of dandruffs but do not lose hair. You need to consult a dermatologist re. the cause for your hair loss (iron def, thyroid disease, autoimmune disorders , contact allergy etc)

I have very severe itching and flaking of the scalp. I was told by a dermatologist that I "might" have sebborheic dermatitis. What shampoos can I use to help with the problem of stubborn itching? I've tried head and shoulders and demorex.

Help? I use fluoconozole oil for sebhorraic dermatitis, Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo. Hair still itches like crazy! hair is thinning at crown, breaking off. Woman.
If I have a shower I have no problems. If I have a bath , after 10 min , my head itches very strong. Why? Is it a symptom of dermatitis seborroic?
