Stay hydrated: It may not always be possible to prevent these symptoms. Drinking plenty of fluids, eating small, frequent meals and getting plenty of rest may help minimize symptoms. Treatment for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy includes home remedies like ginger ale, tums, vitamin B6. Prescriptions include Zofran and reglan (metoclopramide).

Exercise and diet: Regular exercise and a healthy diet before and during pregnanct are very beneficial. There are no magical formulas or remedies. Consult your physician before trying any over the counter medications.
