Possible: It is possible, but if you are having recurrent pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen as well as back pain you may have something else going on. I see that you are also on prednisone - this may make you more likely for other problems as well. You need to get in for reevaluation of your pain. You may need an ultrasound or other studies.
