A member asked:

I have cervical rupture. can i do exercises with dumb- bells, and if i am allowed to do , which exercises are they?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A Pain In The Neck: Ohhh, you better watch out!!! If you mean a herniated disk in your neck then anything like that should be done with the advice of your doctor and under the supervision of a physical therapist,at least at the beginning. And try and avoid straining if you can. Continue to breath during exertion, don't hold your breath; that could make it worse and, you don't want to become more of a pain in the neck!
