Vertigo: Hi, do u have vertigo (the room spinning) or lightheadedness (feeling you want to pass out), these are 2 different things with different causes. Diabetes could affect Autonomic nervous system and cause both lightheadedness upon standing and also vertigo, but panic attack as you mentioned could cause lightheadedness, you need a proper Neurological examination. Please consult with your PMD.

Primary Care Doctor: Routine blood work should be done together with a complete history and physical exam by your primary care director. If normal, cardiovascular work up should be completed. Be well!
