A member asked:

What is an example of an anotomic problem

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anatomy=structure: When a doctor refers to an "anatomic problem", s/he is referring to an abnormality of a physical structure in the body or a problem that's a result of a structure in the body. For example, a vertebral disk is an anatomical structure. If it slips out of place, that's an "anatomic abnormality". If the slipped disk causes nerve pain, numbness or weakness, then that is an "anatomic problem".
