Just go: No special preparation is required for an endometrial biopsy. You will be more comfortable if you don't eat right before it. Many doctors recommend takin Ibuprofen (advil) before the procedure.

Nothing: Endometrial biopsies do not require any preparation. Ask your doctor, but use of an anti-inflammatory medications, such as aleve, (naproxen) can help with any cramping that might occur after the biopsy - this cramping is usually similar to menstrual cramps and is short lived.
