A member asked:

I understand that developmental venous anomalies rarely cause symptoms, but if/when they do, what are they for a large one- right frontal lobe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Right frontal lobe: The frontal lobes control executive functioning (planning, multi-tasking), memory, expression of emotions, personality. The right frontal lobe also controls the motor function of the left side of the body. Importantly, developmental venous anomalies aren't usually clinically significant. See your neurologist for further discussion. http://jnnp.bmj.com/content/67/2/234.full
