May have noted it: Occasional skipped beats are common, even in young healthy patients. If you were aware of these skipped beats during your exam, and your physician didn't mention it, it suggests that what he heard was occasional harmless extra heartbeats(called premature atrial or ventricular contractions). If this continues to concern you return to your physician to discuss it.
