What is pregnancy mucus?

You mean mucus plug?: The mucus plug blocks the opening of the cervix to prevent bacteria from entering the uterus. Before labor, the plug is expelled.

Just mucous: Mucous present during pregnancy is nothing different than mucous normally present in your body. During pregnancy there is a collection of mucous in the cervix. As one approaches the delivery date that mucous comes out and is often referred to as the mucous plug
