Sinus ear poppling: Yes - sinus infections can block the Eustachian tube which connect the inner ear with the back of the throat - allowing the pressure in the ear to equalize - think of what happens as a plane takes off - you have to swallow or chew gum to prevent ear pressure - both those actions opens that tube. Generally this resolves as the infection is treated/clears. good luck
