It could cause: symptoms, depending on the degree of displacement/compression. Signs of conus medullaris syndrome include low back pain, numbness in the groin or inner thighs, leg numbness, and foot numbness. Other symptoms include leg weakness, loss of bladder control, difficulty walking. You should discuss with your doctor what the MRI finding means in terms of your clinical situation.
