There is : degenerative arthritic change at the T12-L1 spinal level, the junction of the thoracic and lumbar spine. Disc protrusion or bulge and osteophyte(arthritic bony overgrowth) are extending into the spinal canal and pushing or compressing the conus(the lower part of the spinal cord).
