Focus and Success: Ask yourself if you are afraid of this exam and don't want to do it...losing your energy due to fear and escape fantasies? If not, then look at your sleep activity cycle: do you exercise regularly, do you get fresh air and sunlight, do you sleep enough and in a timely manner? How is your nutrition? Are you allergic to pollens this season, or toxins in your environment or processed foods?

Create a quiet, un-: cluttered study area. To help retain what you read, subvocalize-whisper-or vocalize while reading. If's 4x easier to learn new information when you relate it to something you already know. After studying in the P.M.'s, go straight to bed - no telephone, texting, TV, video games or electronics- so information consolidates during sleep. Get up early enough to review the harder stuff on exam day.
