Whiplash, concussion: How far back did you bend your head? Neck hyperextension injuries (eg whiplash) can cause a stiff or tender neck, headache, muscle spasms, and tingling or numbness in the upper body. If you hit your head you may have suffered a concussion. See your physician if you're concerned. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/neckinjuriesanddisorders.html

Concerning-see Doc: I'm not sure what to think about the warm sensation on the top of the head, but the confusion is concerning for a possible neurological event such as a transient ischemic attack (TIA, also called mini-stroke), or a complicated migraine, both of which might possibly cause an abnormal scalp sensation. Anxiety or any physical problem such as dehydration could cause similar issues. Best see Doctor.

Could be anxiety: anxiety can manifest in a lot of ways. see a neurologist.

Maybe anxiety: I agree that your underlying anxiety may be contributing to this phenomenon, but perhaps the next step should be an appointment with your family doctor. S/he is in the best position to decide if you need to see a specialist and, if so, which one! Getting an appointment with a neurologist can take some time and going to the ER is, well, a scary experience in and of itself!
