Low: Women are generally not fertile while on their period, so the chance of ectopic pregnancy from that alone is very low.

Unlikely but...: An ectopic pregnancy is a fertilized egg that implants outside of the lining of the uterus, it can be life-threatening. Pregnancy is unlikely to occur during your normal period. Why are you asking? Are you having pain? If you are having severe lower abdominal pain, you need to be seen asap. There are other causes for lower abdominal pain such as appendicitis, ovarian cysts and infections.
