Lyphm node on neck really swollen and tonsil on that side white and swollen. negative for strep. only mild pain when swallowing on that side. worried?

Swollen neck node: I am concerned about the unilateral enlargement of the tonsil and the neck node. Most likely, this may be a tonsillar abscess but it may also be a neoplastic process. I would strongly recommend consultation with ENT in the very near future.

Viral: A lymph node is simply a reaction to an infection. You most likely have a viral throat infection which will resolve on its own. As the infection resolves, the lymph node will go away.
