Peritonsillar: abcess. This may be an infection such as a peritonsilar abscess. This is an infection typically of a unilateral tonsil which presents with one sided throat pain and there may be swollen glands on the side of the infection.

Tonsillitis: White spots on the tonsils particularly when associated with symptoms (sore throat, fever) suggest acute tonsillitis. The lymph gland on the same side also gets inflamed and gets larger and becomes tender. Tonsillitis needs evaluation and its bacterial needs therapy with antibiotics

Don'tStickYrNeckOut: It indicates that, if the right side of your neck is truly swollen, you should see a doctor, white spot or no white spot. You're young so it probably will get better but don't take any chances. They should check the lymph nodes and your blood, etc.
