Needs evaluation: It is difficult to determine exactly what a 'lump' is or the cause of it without direct examination of the area involved. It may simply be a clogged gland or cyst or something more serious. If it persists, I would schedule an appointment with your PCP for further evaluation.

Watch & wait: Is it sore? Is there oozing? It should heal on its own in the next 48-72 hours. If not, or if getting worse, then have it checked, as there may be inflammation that would need attention and treatment. Hope that helps.
