Probable virus: The commonest cause of these symptoms would be an intestinal virus which usually runs its course in 5to7days without any specific treatment.See your physician if there is worsening abdominal pain, rising fever and chills, vomiting or passage of black or bloody stools. In the meantime follow a bland, light diet, take tylenol(less irritating than ibuprofen),and drink room temperature fluids, flat soda.
