No: Pepto-Bismol by itself is not successful in killing those bacteria, and there is no evidence that chronic use of Pepto-Bismol helps in SIBO. I would recommend seeing the doctor who diagnosed your condition, to see if it needs treatment, and if so, what he or she recommends. It can be treated, just not with Pepto-Bismol. Good luck.
