Can you take niacin in your third trimester?

Niacin: Niacin and niacinamide are quite safe for pregnant and breast-feeding women when taken in the recommended amounts. The recommended amount of niacin for pregnant or breast-feeding women is 30 mg per day for women under 18 years of age, and 35 mg for women over 18. If you don't exceed these limits you should be fine.

Within limits: "Likely safe" in pregnancy and breastfeeding at recommended doses only. Always best to get your vitamins from fresh food sources instead if possible. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/583043
