Is it normal to have dry dark brown chunky stools with ibs-c? weird as it sounds, i broke apart one and it was dry inside. hurt coming out? thoughts?

Dry stools: Dry chunky painful stools are never considered normal. This usually occurs due to inadequate water and fiber intake or excessive fluid re-uptake in the GI tract (uncommon).
