Dry cough: Hi, it seems you are being treated for allergy with Montelukast and Budesonide, I believe it's time to see an Allergy specialist for further evaluation and adjustment of your medications, you might have an Allergic Asthma, also you might have Acid reflux which makes the situation worse, Hope u feel better soon.

Dry cough.: You used medication for astma for long time and appears to be not helping you. It may be not related to asthma but related to post nasal drip. Try claritin or zyrtec or similar allergy mediction and see if it will help. If it fails to stop your dry cough again, go to otc acid reflux medications such as h2 blockers and proton pump inhibitors and see it they will help you.
