A member asked:

If i responded when taking clomid, does that make my chance to respond to lupron (leuprolide) high as they have the same mechanism of action?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not Related.: Lupron (leuprolide) and Clomid work differently. Not related. Lupron (leuprolide) is used to prevent hyper stimulation. It decreases estrogen production and also prevents premature ovulation. Clomid is used to make your hypothalamus feel that you have less estrogen and so then your hypothalamus releases a hormone to stimulate estrogen production by stimulating follicle growth.
