A member asked:

Prednisone and antibiotics okay to take together?. or separately at different times?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A Juggling Act: If prescribed together, the doctor hopefully knows what he's doing. There are times when it's OK (e.g. a flaming strep throat or Mono) and many other times when it's not (like when you need all the immune reserve you can get). We should always lean the balance of power of those drugs towards the immune integrity side. There are ways to juggle the equation, but leave that up to your doctor.
