It should not: Sleeping on your stomach should not hurt your baby. However, with advancing pregnancy it may be difficult or impossible to sleep on your 'stomach'. You should sleep on your sides or slanted to either side instead of on your back. This prevents the pregnant uterus from compressing the blood vessels that supplies the uterus and provides oxygen for your baby.
