Food intolerances: Many different conditions can cause diarrhea, including infections, lactose or gluten intolerance, inflammatory bowel disease, or irritable bowel syndrome. Consider keeping a record of the foods you eat to see if certain foods increase your symptoms and discussing with your doctor.
