Bone Pain & Leukemia: Bone and joint pain can be a symptom of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). A CBC is usually performed as a screening test when concerned. If the genetics of the leukemia cells were known before, then blood can be sent for the gene abnormalities again. There are many more common causes of knee & hip pain, such as degenerative osteoarthritis, tendon strain/sprain, etc. See your hem doc and family doc.
