Yes: Why would you take a 2 week break?There is no advantage to this and it can lead to pregnancy.If you skip more than 2 pillsyou should throw that package away, have a period,start a new package and use a backup method of contraception until you are at least 1/2 way through the new package.Likewiseif you are changing pills it is best to finish your package and start the new ones when you would theold

Plan B: With only five days on your birth control, you cannot be assured of full protection. Plan B would not be a bad idea and then restart your birth control pill after your next period. I would use a back up method such as condoms for the first two weeks after the restart.
