Pancreattits: Pancreatic divisum is a pancreas that has failed to fuse. Usually the surgically take out one of the pieces. However, this can still lead to a pancreas prone to pancratitis. He may need a stent to keep his pancreatic duct open or a surgical revision.

Pancreas: I am sorry to hear about your child's symptoms. If your child cannot see the doctor today you must go with him/her to the nearest Emergency Room, but first call the surgeon who took care of your child.
