For about the last week i've been getting through bronchitis. in the last day i've started making a weird honking sound when i cough. what is this?

Stridor: Likely this is stridor. You hear it more with children because they have smaller airways. As long as this is only when you cough it should not be a problem and I would anticipate this should resolve in a few days. However, if you develop fever or the "honk" when you inspire get checked.

Cough: In cough the duration, severity and associated symptoms matter to determine the severity. It appears that your symptoms are getting worse. It possible that you are developing pertussis. Get medical attention.
