See below: Assuming they have healthy livers, both the 9-year-old (95 lbs) and 11-year-old (110 lbs) may take 1 tablet of Extra Strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) (500 mg each tablet). If you have the lower strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) (325 mg per tablet), you may give 1 to 2 tablets per dose - whichever better treats the pain. These may be given by mouth every 4 to 6 hours as needed; not more than 3,000 mg/day in 24 hours.
