Yes and no: It is "possible" to get pregnant once your birth control (IUD?) is removed, but that doesn't mean you will. Ask any couple that has tried to get pregnant, and you will get various answers as to how long it took for them to conceive. You only ovulate once a month, so you should try and time your intercourse during the week of ovulation to improve your chances.

Usually takes time: Just because you could get pregnant after removal does not mean you will. It takes an average of 6 months to get pregnant and you've been trying less than 4 months. For half of women it takes more than 6 months. Be patient. If you try for a year without success then it is reasonable for you and your partner to be evaluated but the odds are good you will get pregnant by then. Have fun trying!
