Depends: It depends on what you mean. A spine that is "crumbling" from osteoporosis can be evaluated by a bone density test and appropriate medications began; if it is from degenerative arthritis, there are a number of non operative treents to treat the symptoms coming from it, but not necessarily to reverse the process itself.
