Maybe: This is a progestin only pill and progestins can cause depression in some women but not in all. The estrogen in birth control pills increases sex hormone binding globulin which binds testosterone and decreases the free, biologically active testosterone.Testosterone causes acne so the lower level is what helps your skin. With no estrogen, I would not expect Cerazette to help your skin.
