FH Leiden factor: Estrogens increase the risk of clotting. Clomid (clomiphene) is a non steroidal selective estrogen receptor modulator. It is not an estrogen. It has not been associated with significant increase in clotting to date, so should be OK. With FH of Leiden positive (I assume means deficient in Leiden V) which increases the risk of clots, get tested and let your doctor know of the results prior to starting.
