How things work: There are at least two ways this can happen. Your pupils dilate (part of natural mammal fight/flight response to threat) and in normal light this can blur vision. In the dark it helps you see better. Also the facial muscles tighten and blood vessels to eyes can be restricted causing poor vision. A good reason to deal w/ anxiety - try CBT therapy to learn ways to manage it and other life skills too
