2 kinds of arthritis: There are differant types of arthritis. One is osteoarthritis which is a wear and tear arthritis which comes from usage like a seamstress developing arthritis in her hands. This is very common especially on the back, knees and hips. The other type is inflammatory like rheumatoid arthritis and these are progressive diseases which need to be treated. Either can become symptomatic at any time.
