Yes: You can die not just sleep from this overdose. It can be very serious and the medicine should not be left around. Recently there have been new warnings about potential cardiac effects of th 40mg dose without overdose !

Celexa (citalopram): Possible, especially as it affects the heart at doses above maximum recommended daily dose.
