Can my neck/arm pain be a result of bankart repair shoulder surgery 2yrs ago? nerve pain from neck down left arm, started 6 months after surgery

Talk to surgeon: Return to the surgeon for a follow-up. They have your records and can best discover what has happened. It's too late for this issue - but learn from it that at that 6 mth point you'd have been wise to seek follow-up. It's part of any Tx - especially surgery. Best!

Probably not: If you had a bankart repair and did well for 6 months and started having neck pain running down your left arm, it is more likely coming from a "pinched nerve" in your neck. Bankart repairs are done primarily for instability, so if you have not developed recurrent instability, it is probably not your shoulder, also shoulder problems do not typically cause pain running down the arm. Be seen!
