Needs eval: Even though no lump, would still recommend being seen and evaluated. Family history of breast cancer? Taking hormones? Trauma? Prior biopsies? Certain meds can also cause this. Your physician should further assess.

Many reasons: There are numerous reasons for breast pain... caffeine consumption is the leading cause of breast pain. Stop all caffeine consumption. Cysts are a common cause, not always palpable. Infections, lack of appropriate vitamin intake. See your family doctor or surgeon for an indepth discussion in this issue.
